During the last session of the FSM Congress, a resolution was introduced "Requesting the President of the Federated States of Micronesia to look into and assess the practice done by the COM-FSM Institution on hiring of non-citizens over FSM citizens."

I know that something like this came up last year. I don't remember whether it was also a resolution, or perhaps a few of the congressmen wrote to the college about it.

Anyway, I thought it would be better for us to discuss this concern before they (the J&GO Committee) start asking us questions.

    Thank you,

One question that I want to ask about this is, is our own people ready to run such an institution? This institution consists of one National Campus and five sub-campuses in all the states. Our institution's President is a local. Well, that's a start and then what's next????????

all of you have to remember that some of these foreigners care for our education... an example of these people are the kelly family... they push students so hard that we suffer first and benefit from their ways later... when comparing a local to a foreigners, so far, the foreigners teach in a more effective way... unlike some locals they jus teach to get paid... complaints anyone?
