Students are free to choose their topic and this is often health and/or human science related.

- 100 level math meets PLO4 as students are required to complete mathematicl problems using a scientific manner. Furthermore, mathematical problems are often related to human life and and health issues e.g., percentage of sugar in diets, populations of people with diabetes etc.

- SC112 meets PLO 3 and 4. The student's knowledge regarding health problems that plague human life will make them aware those nutritional choices affects health well or badly. Group work, in doing research will enhance student's ability in analysis, investigating and writing about current health difficulty and questions.
