IS201

    IS201 meets PLO1. This is an introductory course to the CIS program.

 

CA105

    CA105 meets PLO3 since the students learn more about spreadsheet and how the software help in manipulating and analyzing information as well as generating and presenting reports.

IS220

    IS220 meets PLO4 at I and D level. Student learns basic computer programming concepts and demonstrate their skills in developing computer programs.

IS230

    IS230 meets PLO4 and more specifically on foundational skills in database design. It has also meets partially PLO3 since activities involve the use of software applications (e.g. MS Access, mySQL) in order to manipulate data and generate information for analysis.

IS240

    IS240 meets PLO4 at I , D and M level. Student learns basic XHTML-compliant structure for the web, basic concept of Cascading Style Sheet(CSS) and demonstrate their basic skills in developing website, webpages using the best practice in webpage designing.

IS245

    IS245 meets PLO5 because students are exposed to latest technology not only Desktop Publishing but also in Graphics Design as well.

IS260

    IS260 meets both PLO1 and PLO2 because students not only were given technical concepts that relate to Information Systems but also ethical issues involve in using one. Students also are given theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the strategic use of Information Systems in a business context.

IS280

    IS280 meets PLO4 because students will be given foundational knowledge and skills in hardware and networking that they could use later on in a real-world setting.
