How-To Configure for E-Mail Access

The tables below contain all the information required to configure your computer to use secure POP and SMTP connections. Where this information needs to be entered varies with the software you are using; Detailed instructions for Outlook Express 5.5 and Netscape 7 show where this information is entered.

Configuring for secure POP3

Configuring for secure SMTP:

Both Incoming and Outgoing mail require a user name and password. Your user name is your e-mail address without the @comfsm.fm part. For example, if your e-mail address is wilma@comfsm.fm, your user name is wilma. If you don't know your password, contact IT Services for assistance.
