1    Besides files which are automatically added through ‘gettextize’,
1 there are many files needing revision for properly interacting with GNU
1 ‘gettext’.  If you are closely following GNU standards for Makefile
1 engineering and auto-configuration, the adaptations should be easier to
1 achieve.  Here is a point by point description of the changes needed in
1 each.

1    So, here comes a list of files, each one followed by a description of
1 all alterations it needs.  Many examples are taken out from the GNU
1 ‘gettext’ 0.19.8.1 distribution itself, or from the GNU ‘hello’
1 distribution (<http://www.gnu.org/software/hello>).  You may indeed
1 refer to the source code of the GNU ‘gettext’ and GNU ‘hello’ packages,
1 as they are intended to be good examples for using GNU gettext
1 functionality.
