Duties: Teach up to 15 contact hours of business courses per week with one to four preparations; Teach classes in accordance with the goals and objectives of the course as described in the course outline. Maintain accurate records of student attendance and student learning outcomes/grades, in accordance with COM-FSM regulations; Submit records to Chairperson after the end of the semester/session. Keep at least 5 office hours per week. Participate in one standing committee; may be asked to participate in adhoc committees; Advise students; Participate in special College functions such as graduation. Participate in Division activities. This includes meetings, curriculum development and developing procedures for improving current classes. Participate in assessment activities. Participate in professional development; Attend to additional needs of the College or the community as agreed upon by the faculty member in consultation with their supervisor. Minimum Qualifications: Earned Masters Degree in Business Administration from a US accredited institution plus two years of full-time teaching at the post-secondary level, preferably in an ESL environment. Proficiency in the use of computers (hardware and applications) required. Considerable undergraduate study in business and accounting; work experience in the field(s) of accounting and business; good knowledge of computer information systems; Ability to provide evidence of exemplary teaching ability, initiative, interpersonal skills, and cultural sensitivity are a plus. Experience with establishment and assessment of student learning outcomes.
