1 A number of test programs are provided as part of the liblouis package.
1 They are intended for testing liblouis and for debugging tables.  None
1 of them is suitable for braille transcription.  An application that can
1 be used for transcription is 'file2brl', which is part of the
1 liblouisutdml package (⇒Introduction (liblouisutdml)Top.).  The
1 source code of the test programs can be studied to learn how to use the
1 liblouis library and they can be used to perform the following
1 functions.

1    All of these programs recognize the '--help' and '--version' options.

1 '--help'
1 '-h'
1      Print a usage message listing all available options, then exit
1      successfully.

1 '--version'
1 '-v'
1      Print the version number, then exit successfully.
