liblouis: Hyphenation Tables

1
1 2.2 Hyphenation Tables
1 ======================
1
1 Hyphenation tables are necessary to make opcodes such as the 'nocross'
1 opcode (⇒nocross nocross opcode.) function properly. There are no
1 opcodes for hyphenation table entries because these tables have a
1 special format. Therefore, they cannot be specified as part of an
1 ordinary table. Rather, they must be included using the 'include'
1 opcode (⇒include include opcode.) or as part of a table list. The
1 liblouis hyphenation algorithm was adopted from the one used by
1 OpenOffice. Note that Hyphenation tables must follow character
1 definitions and should preferably be the last. For an example of a
1 hyphenation table, see 'hyph_en_US.dic'.
