1    Nowadays, when users log into a computer, they usually find that all
1 their programs show messages in their native language – at least for
1 users of languages with an active free software community, like French
1 or German; to a lesser extent for languages with a smaller participation
1 in free software and the GNU project, like Hindi and Filipino.
