Assessment

"An educated mind is a questioning mind. Or is it?" ~ T.S. Welti

AR 101 - Introduction to Art

Direct assessment of student is based on an analysis of student behaviors or products in which students demonstrate how well they have mastered student learning outcomes. For this course, developmental portfolios provide concrete evidence of student work and can become effective in gauging changes (evidence of growth) in student ability across time (Allen, M. J., 2004). In addition to portfolios, the students are required to write journals which allow them to reflect and gain insight in their learning process and development.
