The FSM-China Friendship Sports Center serves as a multi-purpose facility. The Center houses two complete basketball courts: the mail court has a seating capacity of 1,300 spectators, and the practice court with a stage at one end that can be used for a variety of activities. Because of its size, the Center can accommocate world-calss conferences and meetings.

The Center also has televesion rooms, pool, and table tennis for student recreation. The Recreation Office is located in the FSM-China Friendship Sports Center and has a variety of equipment, the usual as volleyball and basketballs and the unusual such as Frisbees and waffle balls, for students to check-out and many activities for students to sign up for.

Adjacent to the FSM-China Friendship Sports Center is the COM-FSM Fitness Center with a variety fo free weights and exercise machines wihch are available daily to students.

The recreation staff also offers non-credit courses for leisure such as dancing, yoga, etc.
