Published: Pohnpei, FSM: College of Micronesia-FSM, Audio Visual Center
Year: 1999
Description: About 30 minutes long, a slient video
on the Spanish Exhibit held at the College of Micronesia-FSM in 1999. Most significant in showing the visual images of the impact in which the Spanish administration had on the islands of Micronesia. Shows architectural and religious influences on the islands ranging from Northern Mariana Islands, Guam, Palau, and some island in the FSM region. Connects some visuals from Puerto Rico and Manila which signifies the connection of structural buildings such as the Spahish Wall with those areas in which was colonized by the Spaniards. Visuals ranged from religious images such as churches, bell towers, religious figures, and archtectural figures such as the Chamorro Village in Guam that emphasize the same technique of buildings as those in Spanish occupied territories.
