COM-FSM Homepage

In the early 90’s Business Division of CCM began offering computer applications training to clients outside the College.  On April 1, 1993, CCM became COM-FSM with four state campuses, one for each of the four states of the FSM.  The Computer Training Institute was then transferred to Pohnpei Campus.

During this period, computer skills and applications were offered.  When the training expanded to other areas based on community needs. The name of the office was changed to Pohnpei Campus Training Institute (PCTI).

In June 2005, Pohnpei Campus Training Institute (PCTI) formed a partnership with The Nature Conservancy (TNC) and Micronesians in Island Conservation (MIC), and the community to address the capacity building needs in the local community.   Currently we have done trainings in computer applications, strategic planning, board development, accounting, project management, yoga, janitorial, security guard, secretarial, and kids summer computer programs every year.  PCTI will launch more trainings in Technology and Trade areas in October, 2007.
