Locations are approximate, identifications tentative. This listing is only a partial listing and reflects some of exotics covered in the SC/SS 115 Ethnobotany field trip.

  1. Syzygium aromaticum (clove tree), Araucaria columaris (Cook island pine)
  2. Cinnamomum carolinense, Cycas circinalis (cycad), Coffea arabica (coffee), Piper nigrum (black pepper), Myristica fragrans (nutmeg), Eucalpytus deglupta.
  3. Garcinia xanthochymus (yellow mangosteen), Averrhoa bilimbi, Eugenia uniflora (surinam cherry)
  4. Swietenia mahagoni (mahogany), Agathis cf. lanceolata (kauri), Araucaria columnaris, Gliricidia sepium, Pimenta dioica (allspice), Eucalyptus deglupta (painted eucalyptus), Calophyllum inophyllum, Tectona grandis (teak).
  5. Garcinia mangostana (mangosteen).
