questions. Giving a wrong answer is very embarrassing for our
students so they often opt not to answer. Bear in mind also that
our students' math skills are also unusually weak by any

- In the math science computer laboratory we teach only MS 101
Algebra and Trigonometry, MS 150 Statistics, and MS 152 Calculus
(Calculus runs as a single section once a year - it is a rare
course). At present we have a rather Asian custom in place, we
take our shoes or flip-flops off when we enter the lab. Comment
on your ability to adjust to this sort of cultural demand.
