These two words must be very hard for all of us to cope with. But I think these are the most important part of our life as who we are as an islanders, as we travel to different places. When we are in Chuuk respect Chuukese Culture or acculturate ourselves into their beautiful ways of living. Perhaps, we can understand them better. When we are in Yap, we do the same thing. When we are in Pohnpei we do as they do, we live as they live. When we are in Kosrae we live as they live, we do as they do or maybe even learn about their faith. If we continue to compete among each other. We would not be able to build a strong foundation of our relationship. We need to accept others' values and embrace them as who they are. That way, we build a strong bond in supporting one another as one Nation. We may shine and other peoples from outside can see the unity and how powerful our meme which describe in our very own College of Micronesia-FM's Mission Statement, "Historically, diverse, uniquely Micronesian and globally connected." Our mission statement is a powerful message with a wonderful meaning that describes who we are, also show how unique our College is among other Colleges even other Universities out there. We still have a long way to go, many steps a head of us. However, together we shine, we stand. We can attract other schools out there to come see our unity and friendship. Let's do this together as we go along the road. Hope for our future will set a change in the heart of the new generation of Tomorrow if we make that change happen at College of Micronesia. Some day we will realize and appreciates who we are, and how important our little insinuative could impact our College and nation to better off others' future in the long run or you can stay and enjoy the ride and regret it tomorrow if you do not see the change in your children.

have faith in yourself and love the others as you love yourself... unity is what we need, not dependence nor competence... with all due respect fellow students and maybe staff, up coming generations are maybe too influenced by these two I mentioned, I believe it may be better off if we are not to cope with them but extend faith's faith to our own and stand as one, live as one, and learn to love each other for the sake of any future cause regarding the nation's unity.

Thanks for your clarification lover! I just want to add a little to your post. First, you are right I cannot live without "faith" for faith is what assured us of what we do not see. However, there's so much more to than just the faith alone, repentance, and be baptized in the water and the Holy Spirit. The baptism in water, and the Holy Ghost (Mark 1:8) is a reminder for us that we have been set free from the bond of damnation (fall of Adam and Eve) by merging ourselves into the water, and out of the water; is a renewing of the covenant between you and God; you have let go of your old self, and now become new person in Christ. The baptism symbolizes our submission to God's command and authority which brought us into full communion (relationship) with God. Thus, our relationship with God is an outcome of our response by accepting God's covenant(Baptism). In the same way, Faith is an outcome by our response to God's call, relationship so to say a covenant; an exchange between God and mankind, "I am your God and you are my people." Our responsibility is not just Faith alone, "Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead " (James 2: 17). However, it is Faith with our actions(good deeds) is measurable; it defines our right and wrong. God gives us free will to choose that relationship in order for us to understand that our body is made to be in mutual love with one another (a temple of fellowship) and to exercise that love according to his purpose; not my purpose nor yours, but his. Once we reject that call, which has been entrusted to us it is then we are turn our back on God. This is when you and I need to repent in order to invite God back into our heart, so to say; reestablish his covenant and relationship with us. Thank you!
