Actually, from what I know.. is that the Pell Grant gives a student limited moneys that he/she can spend during Fall, Spring, and Summer classes. The Pell Grant doesn't seem to help us pay our classes in Summer classes.. The SEG also helps us out, but not too much.. You see, every Summer, we need to renew our FAFSA so that it can help us pay our Fall and Spring classes. If you are plannig to take summer class, I prefer that you need to save lot of moneys in your bank accounts or else you will be surpised "you owe this amount" in your Summer classes..

i think the accreditation team cuts down our pell grants cuz COM is on probation.. they are giving us chance but if we wont make it to their needs then COM is all over.. so please concentrate on ur classes and make good grades and dnt rely much on the pell grant..

From what I know from the Pell Grant, it awards up to $5,500 are available for each eligible students. Yet, there is this resolution called "JEMCO". They are planning to cut $700,000 from the Compact Funding for the college. That's what I know about the changes about the Pell Grant. If you want to know more about the Pell Grant for this year, just highlight this site below and go to see this site for more informations from it.

Island girl, you should check your receivable accounts each semester, from Fall & Spring.. It should tell you how much moneys you have spend. Seriously, if I do some calculations, I don't think you will understand where I get those calculations from?

From my sources, SEG will pay 80% of your tuition. Which means that if you're taking one class, you will pay an amount between approximately $80-180. This info I also from the FAO...
