High School is where you throw papers in the classroom and chase each other around in the fields during breaktime while in college you should be more mature sitting in your seat and paying attention to the instructor and no more passing dirty little notes. Sadly from my observations, this college is more like any high school where student have not yet outgrow their childish ways.

  4.
muah_muah, you got a great point there. But, have you outgrown your childishness? You know, one thing that makes adults act immaturely is the lack of experience. For example, someone has not yet experience love, sex, fun and etc. Trust me, if an adult doesn't come through these physically during the younger age, he or she is psychologically immature.

    kiowpeilock,

I've been attending classes at this campus for three years and every semester its always the same story..just take a look around..here's a typical lunchtime scenario for you..As i was walking inside the cafeteria a few weeks ago, this chick almost knocked me flat on my face. thanks to the door handle I was able to save my face. She was running outside with one of her friends hot on her heels laughing and shouting something that sounds like" leave me alone!! hahahahaaa!'' Trust me, it was a few octaves higher than the usual pitch. All her friends were laughing and fooling around with each other on their table. In my head I was like, '' so immature ''...If she's mature enough what do you suggest she'll be doing? Conclusion: If you feel like you're not ready for college life, stay home and feed the pigs. Its perfectly legal and safe.

    THIS IS A NICE-NON-SENSE-QUESTION.

YOU ALREADY KNOW THE ANSWERS AND YET YOU'RE ASKING AGAIN.

I SAY, THE BIG DIFFERENCE IS OUR time. IN HS, WE START AT 8 AND FINISH AT 4 FROM MON-FRI AND HAVE 6 CLASSES AS USUAL. IN COM, WE HAVE CLASS ON MWF,T/TH DIFF. TYME.YOU MAY HAVE 2 OR 3 CLASSES ONMWF AND 1 OR 2 ON T/TH. IN HS, YOU MISS CLASS, COME THE NEXT DAY, LIED TO THE PRINCIPAL THAT YOU WERE SICK, YOU ARE EXCUSED. IN COLL, YOU MISSED-YOU MISSED.... NO EXPLANATION, AND NO EXCUSE.

OH, IN HS.... YOU DON'T GET PAID AFTER EACH SEMESTER....WHILE IN COLL., YOU GET PAID AFTER EVERY SEMESTER.
  7.
you got that right my man Rengaw............

Hey high school equals making friends & having good times
but, college equals being independent and focusing more on their goals.
  8.
attending this college is like reliving high school all over again...
were so concerned about rumors and other people...
like, WHERE ARE THE BEER KEGS?
its up to us to make this feel lyk a real college
theres a bigger world out there you guys...

When you're young you worry about what other people think about you
As you get older you start to not care
and when you're old you realize that no one was thinking about you
  9.
Back to the topic at hand. The question is what is the difference between college life and high school life.

Answer: College is where men are separated from the boys. College is an adult institution, therefore your immaturity or childish behaviors should be left back at the high school where you came from. The courses we take are accredited toward an adult institution or program of education. So there, big difference. No high school life is close or comprehensible to college.

    according to the topic.
college students they got paid or in other word they get a refund check
but high school no paid no checks.lol....
  10.
high school life is like da beginning of an adulthood...most teens cannot control high school life because the temptation....n but high school life is more trouble dan college. but dats js not it. when u get to college everything change..dose who likes to slak off in high school become the one whos into their school those who hate school fall in lov wit school...n llast but not the least u get ur refund. n u can also have or own bnk account!

yeah.....but High School is really fun than College...
i mean in high school, lots of friends and many activities...
    phew....lots of memories....
  11.
mature and more stable in college...still having tantrums and too concerned about their appearances in high school. Too much peer pressure also in high school. Glad I crossed that bridge of adolescence.
