Lady Sharks Hold Bingo Bash Event

Kolonia, Pohnpei – The COM-FSM Lady Sharks women's organization held a successful bingo event at the Pohnpei campus gymnasium on June 22, 2013. The event was the first activity ever conducted by the Lady Sharks, which was established just early this year.

Seventeen of the more than 300 participants who participated won special prizes. Raffle prizes were also given away throughout the event. According to Juvel Rempis, Chairman of the Bingo event, " We were surprised with the turn out of the event, a lot of people came, at the same time we are very much thankful to all the sponsors who donated the prizes for this special event."

The sole purpose of the activity was to raise funds for the Colleges Endowment Fund. The lady sharks raised a total of $4,512.00.
