College Mourns the Passing of Beloved CTEC Staff
On behalf of the Board of Regents, students, faculty, staff, and administrators of the College of Micronesia-FSM (COM-FSM), it is with profound sorrow and deep regret that I share the heartbreaking news of the sudden and untimely passing of our esteemed colleague, Mrs. Derny Iehsi Clark, CTEC UB Administrative Assistant .
Mrs. Clark dedicated over 26 years of loyal service to our institution, having joined the College on November 11, 1999. She was an integral and foundational figure in the establishment and growth of the Upward Bound (UB) program at the CTEC Campus. For more than two and a half decades, she tirelessly served as the steadfast point of contact, providing unwavering support and guidance to countless students, parents, and colleagues. Her commitment was a pillar of the UB program's success.
Derny's presence, characterized by warmth, dedication, and professionalism, will be deeply and genuinely missed by all members of the COM-FSM community and the many lives she positively impacted.
To the family of Mrs. Derny Iehsi Clark, we extend our deepest and most heartfelt condolences. Please know that the thoughts, prayers, and gratitude of the entire COM-FSM community are with you during this time of profound and unimaginable grief. We mourn with you and honor her life, her legacy of service, and the lasting, positive impact she made during her distinguished tenure with us.
May Mrs. Clark rest in eternal peace, and may her cherished memory bring comfort, strength, and solace to her family and to all whose lives she touched.
