The Embassy of Japan in the FSM welcomes applications for the Japanese Language Program for Overseas Students 2024 by the Japan Foundation.
The program is designed to offer FSM students with outstanding Japanese language skills, the opportunity to visit Japan and deepen their knowledge of Japanese language and culture.
The details of this program and the examination schedule are as follows.
Details of this program
Program Period: September 4 to September 18, 2024. (15 days)
Location of Traning and Accommodation: The Japan Foundation Japanese-Language Institute, Kansai

Examination Schedule
Application deadline: May 16, 2024 by 5pm
Required Documents: Application form, Self-Introduction Form, Certificate of Health, and a copy of passport (If you have)
Place to submit documents: Embassy of Japan in the FSM
Examination: May 22, 2024 starting from 2:00pm
Result Announcement: May 23, 2024(We will inform individually)
Contents of Examination
- A written examination of Japanese language
- A short interview in basic Japanese and English
