JENESYS 2022 Phase II and JENESYS 2023

The Government of Japan announces the opening of JENESYS Programme (Japan-East Asia Network
of Exchange for Students and Youths). The Programme is a series of fully funded two-week study tours to Japan, for college and university students from 14 Pacific Island Countries (PICs).
The 14 PICs in this Programme include Cook Islands, Federated States of Micronesia, Fiji, Kiribati, Marshall Islands, Nauru, Niue, Palau, Papua New Guinea, Samoa, Solomon Islands, Tonga, Tuvaluand Vanuatu.

Students from the College of Micronesia-FSM are eligible to participate. Travel to Japan will take
place between December 5, 2023 to February 2, 2024.

Criteria for Selection
To be eligible for the Program, you must:
1. Be enrolled as a full-time or part-time with the college
2. Be 18 to 34 years of age
3. Have a minimum GPA of 2.5
4. Have completed at least 1 semester with the college
5. Be in good health
6. Have a valid passport (must be valid for at least six months beyond the date of your
expected stay in Japan).

Students need to submit the 1) Completed application form which include an essay; 2) 2x2 passport
size photo; and 3) Copy of passport.
