Pohnpei Utilities Corporation Apprenticeship Program

On March 25, 2022, the United States Department of Labor (USDOL) Office of Apprenticeship issued a certificate of registration for an electrical apprenticeship training program to the Pohnpei Utilities Corporation (PUC). The training program is a joint effort between PUC and COM-FSM to train selected PUC employees in occupation as stated above through the USDOL Office of Apprenticeship. The training is for four years and includes two requirements (1) on-the-job training (OJT) and (2) related training instruction (RTI).  The training program’s RTI is the Construction Electricity program at the Career & Technical Education Center(CTEC) in Kolonia, Pohnpei.
