[RFP No.B2022-01] For CTEC Perimeter Fencing Project

Purpose

The College of Micronesia-FSM is soliciting proposals from licensed construction contractor for project entitled “CTEC Perimeter Fencing Project” located in Kolonia, Pohnpei.

GENERAL SCOPE OF WORK

Contractor must provide complete material, equipment, and labor necessary to complete the following Scope of Work:

Remove old gates at Section 1-5 per sketch provided.

1. Construct 8 feet high chain link fence using GI posts and 9 gauge galvanized cyclone fence with proper manufactured parts and fittings.
2. Fabricate 5 sets of 20 ft. wide double gates and 2 set of 4 ft. wide single pedestrian gate.

BID DOCUMENT PICKUP

All documents necessary to aid in the preparation of proposals shall be made available for pickup on October 6, 2021 at CTEC Maintenance Office in Kolonia during regular office hours. No fee is required.

PRE-BID CONFERENCE

All interested bidders are encouraged to attend the Pre-Bid Conference scheduled on October 13, 2021 @ 10:00AM (Pohnpei Time), at CTEC Conference Room in Kolonia, Pohnpei.

BID SUBMISSION DEADLINE

All proposals must be submitted to the contact person (s) by November 09, 2021, no later than 03:00PM (Pohnpei Time). The RFP bid forms and other inquiries can be obtained through the contact (s) below;

Terms and Conditions

All proposals shall serve as the basis for a Contract, if any between the successful bidder and COM-FSM. The College of Micronesia-FSM is NOT bound to accept any proposal, or award a contract, nor responsible for any cost associated with bidder’s preparation and submission of any proposal.

Review Rights

The College of Micronesia-FSM reserves the right to accept or reject any or all responses to this RFP and to enter into discussion, or negotiation with one or more qualified bidders at the same time, if such action is in the best interest of the College of Micronesia-FSM.
