[RFP] Kosrae Campus Fencing Design and Construction Project

RFP NO.: B2021-30

PURPOSE:   The College of Micronesia-FSM is soliciting proposals from qualified and licensed contractor, or firm for the design and construction of Kosrae Campus perimeter-fencing project in Tofol Kosrae, FM 96944.

SCOPE OF WORK:   Interested Bidders must prepare the design for fencing of Kosrae Campus perimeters in accordance to the scope of work below and Owner’s requirements specified in the bid package.

1. Design and build perimeter fence at the Kosrae Campus site as indicated in the bid packages.
2. Fence shall be standard galvanized cyclone wire fencing gauge no. 9 with the height of 8 feet.
3. Fence shall be installed with three gates, three double gates 20 feet main entry and four single 4 feet exits gates as shown in the drawings in the bid packages.
4. Fence is approximately 1,800 feet in length.

BID PACKAGE:  Interested Bidders may pick-up the bid package at Kosrae Campus Maintenance

PRE-BID CONFERENCE:   Interested Bidders are encouraged to attend the Pre-Bid Conference and site visit scheduled on September 01, 2021, 10:00am Kosrae Time.

BID SUBMISSION DEADLINE:  All proposals must be submitted to the contact person below no later than September 27, 2021, 3:00pm Kosrae Time.   

TERMS/CONDITIONS:  All proposals serve as the basis for Contract, if any between the successful bidder and the owner.  The College of Micronesia-FSM is NOT bound to accept any proposal, or award a Contract, nor responsible for any costs associated with bidder’s preparation and submission of any proposal. 

REVIEW RIGHTS: The College of Micronesia-FSM reserves the right to accept or reject any or all responses to this RFP and to enter into discussion, or negotiations with one or more qualified bidders at the same time, if such action is in the best interest of the College of Micronesia-FSM.
