Japanese Government Scholarship Program (Monbukagakusho)
The Embassy of Japan announces the opening of applications for the Japanese Government Scholarship Program for academic year 2020. The scholarships are for 1. Undergraduate Students, 2. College of Technology Students, 3. Specialized Training College Students, and 4. Research Students. Information for each type of scholarship is available at the following websites:

The deadline and examination date for applications are as follows:
- Undergraduate Students, College of Technology Students & Specialized Training College Students
- Deadline: June 28, 2019 at 5:00 pm//Exam: July 26, 2019
- Research Students
- Deadline: June 14, 2019 at 5:00pm//Exam: June 21, 2019
The scholarship covers five (5) years of study towards a baccalaureate degree and pays for airfare to and from Japan as long as the student arrives on time and graduates the program. Applicants must be born on or after April 2, 1995.
