Center for Entrepreneurship Opens

September 22, 2015 (Palikir, Pohnpei) – The College officially opened the Center for Entrepreneurship with a ribbon cutting ceremony at the Colleges National Campus.

Present at the ceremony was former FSM President and now Executive Director for Institutional Advancement Office of the College Mr. Emanuel Mori, Secretary of Education Mr. Kalwin Kephas, Chairman and President of the Micronesia Registration Advisory (MRA) Mr. Steve Baker, COM-FSM Regent Kasio Mida, faculty, staff, and students.

The center was established in August 2014 through a grant from MRA. The center is open for students and faculty to create and grow innovative ideas.  Students and faculty may use the space within the center to gather, work on plans for business or social entrepreneurial ventures, and take advantage of courses and services provided by the Center.
