Duties:

Under the direct supervision of the Vice President of Instructional Affairs (VPIA), the position involves aiding in implementing, supporting and improving excellent learning experiences for teaching and learning experiences. It will involve collaboration with educators to design, develop and implement technology-enhanced learning experiences. Also conducting training sessions and workshops for educators to develop their technology skills and knowledge.

  • Main Responsibilities:
    1. Collaborating with educators to design, develop, and implement technology-enhanced learning experiences.
    2. Providing technical support to educators and students using technology for teaching and learning.
    3. Conducting training sessions and workshops for educators to develop their technology skills and knowledge
    4. Evaluating and recommending educational technologies for adoption and use in the classroom.
    5. Managing and maintaining educational technology infrastructure and resources
  • Software Program Skills:
    1. Learning management systems (LMS) such as Blackboard, Canvas, or Moodle
    2. Multimedia production tools such as Camtasia, iMovie, or Adobe Creative Suite
    3. Assessment and survey tools such as SurveyMonkey, Qualtrics, or Google Forms
    4. Collaboration and communication tools such as Microsoft Teams, Slack, or Zoom
    5. Productivity tools such as Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
  • Special Skills/Abilities and Knowledge:
    1. Strong understanding of educational technology principles and familiarity with learning management systems and multimedia production
    2. Proficiency in IT skills, including hardware and software troubleshooting and maintenance, and experience with assessment and survey tools
Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree preferably in Education or Information Systems or relevant education technology areas or BA with extensive experience or Bachelor's degree with up to 4 years of experience in the field or a related field from a US accredited college.

Foreign credentials must be equated to meet US standards in the field of work using World Education Services at http://www.wes.org.
