Duties:

Reporting to the IT Director, responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Deploy and strengthen user function of major products across multiple platforms including Windows, Unix, Linux, and/or mobile platforms (iOS or Android);
  • Support clients to ensure smooth and efficient operations of applications and access to system servers;
  • Train users to develop digital literacy (ID-10-T based, experienced, expert users);
  • Test product compatibility and security through sandboxing, penetration testing; evaluate hardware, software, and related services as it relates to college-systems integration
  • Prepare and communicate ICT languages into user-friendly English to update operating /user manuals;
  • Coordinate within the IT team and wider college communityServe on committees as required.
  • Research new products and stay informed of ICT innovation best practices in the Pacific region.  
Minimum Qualifications:

AS degree from a US accredited college in the field of assignment with at least 2 years of work experience directly related to the responsibilities of this position. We will consider a high school diploma or GED with 4 years of direct experience in the field of assignment OR a combination of both education and work experience that meet the responsibilities above. Must be familiar with Microsoft products, Linux and MySQL. Preferred a Bachelor’s degree and 2 to 4 years of direct work experience.
