Duties:

Reporting to the CRE Director, the incumbent will carry out these responsibilities:

  • Maintaining data entry requirements by following the correct procedures and protocols.
  • Maintaining operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes.
  • Verifies data by reviewing, correcting, deleting, or reentering data; combining data from other system within the comfsm system and Land Grant.
  • Work shall include answering telephone, make appointment, typing, filing, copying of documents, prepare purchase orders, travel authorizations, contracts and other necessary documents and collaboration of CRE office.
  • Serve on committees.
Minimum Qualifications:

AS degree in the field of Agriculture or Business Administration with a minimum of three years of work as a data entry clerk or assistant at the College of Micronesia-FSM. Experience/Skills: filing, copying, and typing. Special Skills and Knowledge: 3 years in data entry techniques.  Software Program: Microsoft word, excel, or any data entry program. Adept in data entry. Good computer skills(data entry programs and Micronsoft word), ability to work in a busy and flexible environment, good math and English skills, excellent customer services skills, an understanding of data confidentiality issues, and the ability to work quickly and accurately, and pay attention to detail.

Foreign credentials must be equated to meet US standards in the field of work using World Education Services at http://www.wes.org.
