Duties:

Performa variety of duties to clean and maintain cleanliness and organization at the campus indoor and outdoor that include but not limited to: sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, waxing and polishing structures (floors, walls, ceilings), equipments, offices, restrooms, LRC, computer labs, and any other college buildings space and make sure clearning supplies are always available. Collect and dispose trash indoor and outdoor, arrange furnitures and equipments in an acceptable and orderly manner daily and as needed for special functions and peform other duites as maybe assigned. Serve on committees as relevant.

Minimum Qualifications:

Combination of sufficient relevant training and experience that demonstrate the ability and skills to carry out the responsibilities and duties above. High School graduation is preferred. Knowledge of: Practices, tools and materials used in janitorial work. Ability to: Perform light to heavy manual work; lift and carry furniture, cleaning equipments/supplies occasionally. Understand and follow oral and written instructions; perform minor building repair and maintenanece tasks; operatate heavy industrial type clearning equipment. One must possess driver’s license, demonsrated initiative to learn and carry out responsibilities. Demonstrated commitment to student success and experience in building strong relationships with students and staff.
