Duties:

: Participates in the selection and hiring of UBP employees. Supervises and evaluates all program staff in accordance with the established COM-FSM personnel policies. Develops and coordinates all UBP curriculum program and ensures maximum implementation of program’s objectives. Develops and implements yearly schedule for UBP activities. Disseminates information about the objectives and progress of UBP to the staff/faculty of the college, government bodies, parents, students and the public at large. Assesses the progress of UBP and implements strategies for further improvement. Prepares reports as required. Plans, conducts and evaluates staff training. Reviews and authorizes the purchase of equipment and supplies. Acts as a liaison officer between the public, private sector, parents, the college and other relevant institutions. Attends meetings, conferences, workshops and trainings relevant to UBP activities. Teaches subject areas as required. Develops strategies for the selection of UB students. In conjunction with the counselor evaluates the needs of each individual student. Performs other duties as directed by UBP guidelines and campus dean.


Minimum Qualifications:

: Bachelor’s degree in administration, education or related field from a US accredited college with a minimum of three years progressive administrative experience. Foreign credentials must be equated to meet US standards using World Education Services at http://www.wes.org. Master’s degree preferred. Knowledge and experience of organizational and administrative practices in an educational setting or institution. Knowledge and experience in designing, managing, or implementing a U.S. Federally funded program. Person with background similar to project participants is highly desirable. Ability to communicate effectively in English both orally and in writing: establish and maintain effective working relationships, and work with a minimum of supervision. Demonstrated successful team work experience and flexibility toward accomplishing goals is essential.
