Duties:
Under the supervisor of the director, the ncombent will provide the following services:ensure that curriculum is being followed and revised to meet students’ needs; planning of  student academic activities; academic counseling to program participants; after school tutorial to needy students as may be assigned by the director/counselor; develop individual educational plan for each participant; evaluate student academic performances and recommends to the director proper assistance needed to help the student improve his/her skills; observe and evaluate instructors and tutors to ensure that everyone performs correspondingly to the plan of action; offer assistance and guidance to the instructors needing help implementing the new program; keep a record of weekly after school tutorial to be discussed with the director; assist the Counselor with the administration of standardized tests; serve on committees and perform other duties as assigned.  
Minimum Qualifications:

BA from an US accredited college with major coursework in educational counseling, social sciences, or related field; and two years of progressively responsible experience in providing educational services, counseling, or other assistance to students or related groups. Master degree preferred. Foreign credentials must be equated to US standards using World Education Services at http://www.wes.org.

Knowledge of: college programs and organizations, their purposes and assignment; techniques and procedures used in academic and personal counseling; principles and practices of modern office management.

Ability to:  establish and maintain effective working relationships with students, faculty, staff and community; learn the specific techniques needed to fulfill student services activities program and planned programs; analyze effectiveness of program and make appropriate modifications within scope and assigned responsibility; work with a diverse faculty, staff and students; work as part of team in accomplishing tasks and functions.
