Duties:
Assist in all administrative work; scheduling of sports for the College; compile division reports; assist with budget development; type announcements; help with student clubs bylaws. Assist in the implementation of recreation programs by conducting instructional classes in recreation specialties such as performing arts [e.g., dance, music], creative arts[e.g.,bsket weaving, painting, cooking], or sports[e.g., basketball, baseball, softball]; prepare groups for competition, recruit participants,assisit in officiating basketball games; organize peer guides and SBA elections; conduct clinics for multi sport programs. Serve on committees and other duties assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:

High School Graduate. US accredited college degree in physical education preferred. One year of experience in sports and recreation activities. Two years of experience in sports and recreation activities preferred. Some experience in office administrative support work. Sufficient experience that demonstrate the ability to effectively interact with people and convey information accurately and effectively. Must have a valid driver’s license. Knowledge and ability of: rules of play of various team and non-team sports [e.g., volleyball, baseball, basketball, table tennis, billiards]; good sportsmanship and fair play; standard English language communication skills in order to speak, read and write effectively; ability to deal effectively with students and staff; communicate effectively with others; instruct and coach students in various sports and leisure time activities; and operate passenger vehicles.
