Duties: Maintain database system to record and monitor program an participants progress toward grant objectives; customize and coordinate database to meet program staff reporting needs; create custom and interlinked database system to collect and retrieve student and program data; create and manage program web page; produce and edit participants, parents, and alumni newsletter as well as program brochures, applications, and fliers both print and electronic media; coordinate public relations efforts and events with target high schools: including meetings, fairs, and recruiting presentations; assist Program Director in preparing and submitting Annual Performance Report; perform other duties as may be assigned by the Program Director. Minimum Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited four year college or university with some coursework in the field of assignment. Minimum of two years experience in the office management, using database to create student record and staff reporting needs. Knowledge of: principals and practices of modern office management including computer software programs such as File Maker Pro, Microsoft word and other relevant programs to the work assignments. Ability to: understand and follow complex instructions; communicate effectively; analyze, interpret, and use sound logic and judgment in application of a variety of financial/administrative rules and/or student services; fluency in the English language required. Or any equivalent combination of education and/or experience which provides for the above.
