[RFP No.2023-16] For COM-FSM Gymnasium Floor Repair

GENERAL PURPOSE: The College of Micronesia-FSM is seeking proposals from licensed construction contractor to provide estimate necessary for project entitled "COM-FSM Gymnasium Floor Repair" located in Palikir, Pohnpei.

GENERAL SCOPE OF WORK: Contractor must provide complete material, equipment and labor necessary to complete the following Scope of Work;

1. Remove all broken and loose ceramic floor tiles.
2. Chip, clean and prepare area to replace ceramic floor tiles with smooth finished concrete topping. Concrete topping shall be laid with approved bonding agent. Cut and install ¼" wide contracting joint @ 8 feet apart and apply flexible epoxy filler approved by Owner.
3. Clean and remove all trash and construction debris from project site.

BID DOCUMENT PICKUP: All documents necessary to aid in the preparation of proposals shall be made available for pickup on February 22, 2023 at COM-FSM National Campus Maintenance Office during normal office hours. No fee is required.

PRE-BID CONFERENCE: All interested bidders are encouraged to attend the Pre-Bid Conference scheduled on February 27, 2023 @ 09:00AM (Pohnpei Time), at the COM-FSM Maintenance Office, in Palikir, Pohnpei.

BID SUBMISSION: All proposals, enclosed in a sealed envelope clearly marked “COM-FSM Gymnasium Floor Repair per RFP No.B2023-16, shall be submitted to the office of the Director of Maintenance @ National Campus on March 3, 2023, no later than 10:00AM (Pohnpei Time). TERMS/CONDITIONS: All proposals shall serve as the basis for a Contract, if any between the successful bidder and COM-FSM. The College of Micronesia-FSM is NOT bound to accept any proposal, or award a contract, nor responsible for any cost associated with bidder’s preparation and submission of any proposal.

REVIEW RIGHTS: The College of Micronesia-FSM reserves the right to accept or reject any or all responses to this RFP and to enter into discussion, or negotiation with one or more qualified bidders at the same time, if such action is in the best interest of the College of Micronesia-FSM.
