[RFP NO.:2023-12] For Building “D” Roofing Replacement & Repairs

GENERAL PURPOSE: The College of Micronesia-FSM is soliciting proposals from interested contractors for the replacement of roofing and wall repairs of Building “D” at the Chuuk Campus site.

GENERAL SCOPE OF WORK:Contractor shall provide detail quotations based on scope of work provided in accordance to the Owner’s requirements:

• Design steel roof framing.
• Raise front exterior walls.
• Raise interior floor.
• Replace window frames and screen.
• Replace exterior doors and frames.
• Replace interior partition walls.
• Repair damaged concrete walls.
• Repair sidewalk.
• Interior & Exterior Painting.
• Electrical System.
• Remove tree branches.

SELECTION CRITERIA: All proposals will be reviewed and considered on the following criteria in the table below for the best value basis and responsiveness:

SITE VISIT: All interested bidders are encouraged to schedule individual site visits at the Chuuk Maintenance Office, beginning January 16, 2023 to January 20, 2023.

BID SUBMISSION DEADLINE: All proposals must be submitted to the contact person below no later than, February 17, 2023; 3:00pm Chuuk Time. Interested bidders shall obtain scope of works through the contact person below at Chuuk Campus Maintenance Office.

TERMS/CONDITIONS: All proposals served as the basis for a Contract, if any between the successful bidder and COM-FSM. The College of Micronesia-FSM is NOT bound to accept any proposal, award a Contract, nor responsible for any costs associated with bidder’s preparation and submission of any proposal.

REVIEW RIGHTS: The College of Micronesia-FSM reserve the right to accept or reject any or all responses to this RFP and to enter into discussion, or negotiations with one or more qualified bidders at the same time, if such action is in the best interest of the College of Micronesia-FSM.
