1 8 The File Browser
1 ******************
1
1 When in the Read-File (‘^R’) or Write-Out menu (‘^O’), pressing ‘^T’
1 will invoke the file browser. Here, one can navigate directories in a
1 graphical manner in order to find the desired file.
1
1 Basic movement in the file browser is accomplished with the arrow and
1 other cursor-movement keys. More targeted movement is accomplished by
1 searching, via ‘^W’ or ‘w’, or by changing directory, via ‘^_’ or ‘g’.
1 The behavior of the ‘Enter’ key (or ‘s’) varies by what is currently
1 selected. If the currently selected object is a directory, the file
1 browser will enter and display the contents of the directory. If the
1 object is a file, this filename and path are copied to the status bar,
1 and the file browser exits.
