1 The findutils source distribution includes a 'configure' script which
1 examines the system and generates files required to build findutils.
1 See the files 'README' and 'INSTALL'.

1    A number of options can be specified on the 'configure' command line,
1 and many of these are straightforward, adequately documented in the
1 '--help' output, or not normally useful.  Options which are useful or
1 which are not obvious are explained here.
