1 You can specify two aspects of the target system to the GNU binary file
1 utilities, each in several ways:

1 * the architecture

1 In the following summaries, the lists of ways to specify values are
1 in order of decreasing precedence. The ways listed first override those
1 listed later.

1 The commands to list valid values only list the values for which the
1 programs you are running were configured. If they were configured with
1 '--enable-targets=all', the commands list most of the available values,
1 but a few are left out; not all targets can be configured in at once
1 because some of them can only be configured "native" (on hosts with the
1 same type as the target system).
